2. KEEP UP WITH VEGGIES:

What if we told you there's CARBS in veggies - does it make you crave them more?! Seriously, girl. You need veggies in your Keto plan to ensure you’re getting enough of your daily vitamins and minerals, as well as fibre. Your grocery cart should include leafy / green / non-starch veggies, some examples would be spinach, asparagus, avocado, broccoli, kale, peppers, lettuce, asparagus etc.

3. BEAT THE KETO FLU:

Ok, it’s not actually a flu you can catch and no, not everyone goes through this phase! It’s a popular term used to describe your first week on Keto- when your body is adjusting and learning how to burn fats for fuel. Best way to avoid the Keto Flu is to start your journey off slowly. Keep hydrated, consume more fats, get plenty of rest and avoid super tough workouts in the first week.

4. INCREASE HEALTHY FATS:

The most common misconception about Keto is that you’re eating a mainly protein diet- which is false. Keto is ALL ABOUT the healthy fats- fish, nuts, eggs, and cheese are just some of our favorite options! In the first week you might be feeling super sluggish, but once you get going you should get back on track!
