Hey babe - if you’re reading this it probably means you have a sweet tooth, I mean really who doesn’t?! In an ideal world we could eat whatever we want without gaining weight. Unfortunately, that’s not the case.  Here at FTCo HQ sweet treats are NEVER off limits, but here are some healthier alternatives. 

1. Rice cakes with honey & cinnamon

These couldn’t be easier, or quicker to make! This recipe is perfect for boss babes like yourself to get your day started, or to have as a snack to keep you going through the day. I even looove having them after dinner to satisfy my sweet tooth cravings 😩 Bonus - Rice cakes are typically gluten free! 

What you’ll need: 

  • Rice Cakes (I personally looove the Quaker ones)
  • Honey
  • Cinnamon

**You can also add your fav nut butter for a dash of protein! 

Directions: 
Spread honey onto your rice cake and sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon! 

2. Frozen Fruit/Lemonade/Yogurt Popsicles (homemade)

Girl - these are LIFE CHANGING. I’m serious. They’re SO easy to make and SO delicious you’d think it’s bad for you. 

What you’ll need:

  • Lemonade 
  • Your fav berries ( Pro tip, buy them frozen to save yourself $$$) 
  • Popsicle Maker

Directions: 
Pour some lemonade into your popsicle maker, then stir in your fav berries! For this recipe, I prefer raspberries. If you’re craving ice cream, use yogurt in place of lemonade and your cravings will be satisfied - we promise! 

3. Coconut chips

Our go-to snack here at FTCo HQ. You’ll understand why after you give them a try. You can find these at literally ANY grocery store (typically in the whole foods section). So delicious and crunchy, and a WAY healthier alternative to a bag of chips.  I would personally recommend the Hungry Buddha brand- they’re the best and always have so many flavors to choose from! 

4. Strawberry Parfait

Ok babe, this is the perfect treat for breakfast! They are super easy to make ahead of time if you’re a boss babe on the go, and you can enjoy them at any time of the day! 

What you’ll need: 

  • Strawberries (or any berry of your choice) 
  • Yogurt (I personally use Coconut yogurt) 
  • Oats or Granola - Whichever you prefer. 

Directions:
First things first, cut up your berries into small pieces. Put your yogurt of choice into a bowl, top with granola & sprinkle with berries!  If you’re making them ahead of time, leave the granola out and add it as you’re about to eat the parfait so it doesn’t get soggy. 

5. Frozen Chocolate Banana Bites

Ok babe, you’re about to be obsessed with these! Frozen banana bites are my go-to all year round. They taste like an ice cream bar - but it’s fruit. Does it get any better than this?!

What you’ll need: 

  • Bananas
  • Chocolate Chips (I prefer dark chocolate) 
  • Small wooden sticks
  • Toppings! 

Directions:
Start by melting your fav chocolate in the microwave (approx 30 seconds).
Cut the bananas into 4-6 pieces. Put your wooden stick into the banana pieces, and dip the bananas into the melted chocolate.
Cover with toppings and freeze for 15 mins.
