Whether you live in a tropical climate or not, the months after the holiday season are inevitably busy, long and exhausting! We’re craving that spring-time bloom, and it’s super difficult to stay motivated, crush those goals we set this NY, and still make time for ourselves. So in true FTCO fashion, we put our heads together and came up with a fool-proof plan to get RESULTS!
1. SET SMART GOALS + A TIMELINE!
Setting goals is easy - but we rarely take the time to figure out what we’re going to do to actually ACHIEVE that goal. A goal without a plan, is just a dream. When setting goals, the best method is a SMART method- Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely! If your goal is to lose 10 pounds before the summer, set certain days of the week to workout, use the Flat Tummy Fitness App for some healthier meal ideas. 2. MANIFEST SUCCESS MEETS LAW OF ATTRACTION!
Ever wonder why when you’re already having a bad day, it just seems to keep getting worse?! It’s all about your mindset - SO if you’re ready to hit your goals, MANIFEST that sh*t! Sounds crazy, but it’s true - your thoughts attract energy. Keep up that positive thinking, manifest those successes into your life. Put it into the universe, and you will attract it!
3. TREAT YO-SELF!
Girl, you work HARD. Don’t be afraid to treat yo self when you hit your goals! We need to celebrate those wins, no matter how small. Whether you’ll be treating yourself to a new beauty routine, or a brand new pair of limited edition FTCO leggings. DO IT. Rewarding yourself for little wins helps keep you motivated to continue hitting your goals, and eventually smashing the bigger ones!
4. BE YOUR OWN PERSON!
It can be so easy to compare yourself to those around you, and feel like everyone else is whizzing by, while you’re standing in the same place. The truth is, we’re all on our own timelines, and everyone’s life is different. The only comparing you SHOULD be doing, is you right now in this moment, vs you yesterday, and the day before. Are YOU growing, evolving, transforming? If the answer to that is no, then you need to look within yourself, and forget what others are doing- you are your only competition!
5. Be flexible with yourself!
We preach balance quite often, and without rest days, you wouldn’t have kicka$$ days, right? If you’re too busy because something came up today and have to skip a workout, be gentle with yourself - we all need rest days after all. Skip the gym and take a day for yourself, but make sure you’re ready to keep killing it tomorrow!
6. Write it down!
Above all else, this is probably the most important step. Holding yourself accountable is the biggest key to success. Write down your goals and look at them everyday- remind yourself WHY you’re busting your chops to make a change. Why is this so important to you? Remind yourself of your plan of action, and when you DO succeed, cross that baby off the list, and move on to the next step. Remind yourself of where you’re going, but also how far you’ve come- be stronger, be tougher, and be the complete + total bada$$ that we know you are!
